In this paper, we discuss “Co-Creation between Artificial Intelligence and Human Beings” under the title of “New Trends in the Digital Age”. Regarding the discussion of AI, there is huge increase in applications of AI. There are two issues with AI. Artificial Intelligence can be seen as a concept that “substitutes for human ability”. There is also IA as “Intelligence Amplification”, which can be seen as a concept that “extends human ability”.
For example, a facial recognition system used for immigration is a system for automatically identifying a person from a digital image of a camera. All procedures necessary for departure were performed instantly by AI, and the immigration officer stamped a blank page in the visa column, which was difficult with AI. A recommendation system that presents “suggestions” is an information filtering system that offers information (books, movies, music, etc.) that particular users may be interested in. Instead of going to a bookstore, they follow recommendations and buy from the web.
One of the qualities and abilities of human beings is to familiarize themselves with tools or machines. By using such items better than others, it is regarded as having higher qualities and abilities. Increasingly, AI is used in our daily life. AI and human beings co-create. As digital communication devices such as smartphones become popular, items such as calls, images and videos, qualities and abilities may be judged from the viewpoint of what is to be integrated. In this way, it is possible to shift the human resources ability of how to use AI. In addition, it is conceivable that the human resources ability will shift to how to build a system using AI from the communication skills of people who have been face-to-face, such as the service industry, portal service, or Internet sales.
