In order to make underground shopping streets safety, the suitable method of evacuation guiding is in need. The objective of this study is to get basic data on efficiency and critical number of people to be guided by one person for two methods; Lead method and Point-Direction method. Through a hearing research and experiments, the date shows followings as a result; 1) Lead method is more efficient in spended time. 2) 10 people is the critical to be guided by one person.

中心市街地等において快適な歩行空間を形成し賑わいを創出する重要性が認識され，様々な歩行促進施策が展開される中，その施策を評価する指標として歩行者交通量が多く採用されている．地下街を有する市街地において歩行経路のスケールで歩行流動を把握する場合，Wi-Fiパケットセンサーが簡便さや費用等の面で最も有利であると考えられる．そこで本研究は地下街を有する西武新宿駅周辺において同センサーによる歩行観測を行い，統計値との比較や天候・曜日の違い等による経路選択等の差異に関する分析を行った．その結果，MACアドレスのランダム化が進展する2021年3月時点においても，都市内の歩行者の移動特性と同センサーから取得した歩行流動データの傾向に一定の一致が見られ，その有用性が確認された．

The spatial composition and characteristics of plazas in underground shopping malls across Japan were clarified. The spatial composition of squares was clarified in terms of (1) their relationship with walking spaces such as passageways and stairways, (2) the installation of interior materials, (3) space staging methods, and (4) diversification of maintenance details. It was found that the plaza has diversified in terms of maintenance methods and uses compared to when it was first established. In addition, the relationship between the plaza and the pedestrian space confirmed its function and characteristics.

Recently, the warming on the earth advances gradually. Under such circumstances, occurrence frequency of the torrential rain increases in Tokyo. The technique of numerical prediction of the inundation is an effective tool in order to reduce damage due to such a torrential rain in urban area. In this study, the numerical prediction was conducted by using the rain data of the X-band MP radar as the first step to realize a real-time inundation forecast at the time of the localized torrential rain occurrence. Inundation in Shinjuku area that was highly-urbanized was investigated in this study by using the actual rain data that was measured locally on August 26, 2011. It was suggested that an inundation forecast could be realized soon in future.

The purpose of this study is to suggest an analysis method of inteior as well as exteior trafic lines of architectural planning. In order to analyze them mathematically and theoretically, analysis possibilities and methods were studied by applying indexes and the theory of graphs and networks to the "passageway structures". In the present report, we deal with an examination of the definitions, the essences and applicabilities of the indexes, and a case study of analysis of the street structures of seven underground towns. As a result, to analyze by combining some indexes is so effective for comparison that the structural differences of street networks have been clarified.

This paper discusses the system for exemption from parking lot obligation in central Tokyo. The results are given follows;
1) A master plan of parking lot in the application area is not associated with this system operation of the area rule.
2) There is the necessity to revise the rule of FAR associated with City Planning Act, Building Standards Act and Parking Lot Act to be able to exempt from parking lot obligation of existing buildings.

The inundation process in urban area was investigated numerically in the present study. The numerical simulation model was developed by coupling the following three sub-models; the model of overland flow on the road network, the model of flow in drainage network and that of the flow in underground space, respectively. The water exchange among these three sub-processes is the key point to be handled reasonably in this kind of model. As a result of some series of numerical simulations, the effect of drainage network on the inundation damage itself was understood quantitatively. In case of downtown Shinjuku, the severe inundation damage is expected to occur in both an underground space and some local areas where the ground level is much lower than any other region here under the heavy rainfall even if the drainage network works effectively.

　我が国の主要都市では昭和30年代から50年代にかけて数多くの地下街が建設された．こうした地下街の耐震性強化については，一部の先進的な地下街を除いて，従来，殆ど議論されてこなかった．本報告は，こうした状況の中，（財）都市みらい推進機構内に設置された地下街耐震に関する研究会^[1]（筆者が座長）で調査・整理した内容を報告するものである（なお，本調査研究は国土交通省都市・地域整備局からの依頼を受けて行われたものであり，結果の発表についても同担当課から了解を得ている）．
　既設の地下街には「建築基準法に基づいて設計されたもの」と「鉄道施設として土木系の基準によって設計されたもの」とが存在することが明らかとなり，今後ともこの二つの考え方を尊重して取り組むことが必要で，本調査でその際の方法論を整理することができた．

Purposes of the study are to arrange the content of the post war reconstruction plan,specifying in KABUKI-CHO and, through the investigation and analysis on the course of the district development the present space composition in the region, to examine the influence which the post war reconstruction plan has given to'the district development, and finally to achieve a total review of it. Special stress are put as follows: 1. Aimed at construction of amusement quarter 2. Multi-examined plan 3. Mainly executed by private organizations 4. Gained total support from the administration of that time.
