In this paper, based on the author’s research results, the author systematizes the co-creation of security and safety by insurance and technology from the perspectives of risk management and innovation.
Specifically, this paper shows the Enterprise Risk Management method, which uses simulation technology to quantify and manage catastrophe risks such as earthquakes and typhoons in order to stabilize ROE at an appropriate level.
Furthermore, when new technologies are implemented in society, insurance may play a role as a partner. This research examines the partner relationship between insurance and technology regarding housing performance, autonomous driving, and computer-aided diagnosis.
