We consider a polygonal region where end points of trips are uniformly distributed. The first objective of our study is to calculate the first and the second moments of the Euclidean distance between a fixed point and end points uniformly distributed in the polygon. The second objective is to propose a way to draw contours for the average distance. In the preparation process of drawing the contours, the Weber point is calculated for the given polygon. And we confirm that the minimizer of the second moment of Euclidean distance is the centroid of the polygon. The results of our study will be applied to facility location analyses.
