Abstract

Aim: The impact of Optimized Nutri-Dense Meals on fatigue, sleep quality, and stress in adults aged 18–64 years with varying physical activity levels, consuming one meal daily for 4 weeks, was assessed. Methods: In this open-label, randomized trial, 100 participants with fatigue, poor sleep, and stress were split into a control group with a usual diet and an intervention group with one test meal daily without dietary restrictions. Assessments included the Visual Analog Scale for fatigue (F-VAS), OSA sleep inventory MA version, State-Trait Anxiety Inventory (STAI), Profile of Mood States 2nd Edition (POMS2), MOS 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36), and Presenteeism Score, with a significance level of 0.05. Results: F-VAS indicated improvements in fatigue. In sleep-related items, “sleepiness on waking” and “refreshing” improved, as assessed by OSA. Improvements in the STAI State Anxiety A item and POMS2 Anger-Hostility and Fatigue-Inertia scales in stress-related items were observed. In health-related quality of life, presenteeism scores and “Bodily pain” and “Role emotional” on SF-36 improved.
