Abstract
This work is a shade for lighting fixture by assembling several polypropylene rectangular parts, which is currently patent-pending as of November 2014.
This patent will enable to assemble seven different shapes for lamp shade using only two part design. In addition, after disassembling, the parts are reusable for another shape. Second feature of the patent is its good cost performance. The part design leaves little offcuts and the parts can be stored as sheet, so that it is easy for stock management and requires small space for storage. Thirdly, it is unique for its simplicity of assembling. The person at the entry level can assemble as soon as ten minutes. All the seven shapes are assembled by attaching the rectangular parts into round shape, and pulling the rounded parts to the center from inner side using supplemental part.
