Abstract
Located in the central part of Nagoya city, Sakae Minami area is implementing town development with a unified design code from the viewpoint of place branding.
When Urban Renewal Corporation "Sakae Minami Town Development Co., Ltd." implements area management in public space, proportions and theme colors are reflected in the design of each business according to the design code.
The authors participate in regional consultation from the time of the establishment of the organization, create design codes, propose business proposals, implementation plans, and verifies the effectiveness of each project.
Utilizing Place Branding for area management leads to raising the visibility and advertisement value of the project. Therefore, Sakae Minami area makes it possible to realize town development that continues to grow while sustaining vibrant and bustling landscape.
