Accurate cross section data on deuteron-induced reactions on Li are required for further improvement of a neutron source term in nuclear design of the International Fusion Material Irradiation Facility (IFMIF). Deuteron elastic scattering from 6,7Li up to 50 MeV is analyzed using both optical model calculations with some global deuteron optical potential parameters and a continuum-discretized coupled-channels (CDCC) calculation. Comparisons between the calculations and experimental data are discussed.
