Abstract
This report presents the results of research on the actual condition, to identify the characteristics of users of mixed-use facilities in Hokkaido towns and villages. Investigations were conducted to obtain basic data for making master plans. In this report, the relationship among usages at mixed-use facilities is clarified using factor analyses. Also the use (activity) is discussed in relation to the total area of each room as well as to the area actually used. Furthermore, an index, is defined which represents the extent of facility comprehensiveness by municipality; this index as well as the extent of mixed-usage is discussed.
