Abstract
This report is the study on characteristics and classification of 54 municipalities in KANAGAWA prefecture from the viewpoint of indexes of urbanization and medical resources as the base of area plan of regional health care facilities planning. First we analyzed 223 indexes of urbanization and medical resources of 54 municipalities in KANAGAWA prefecture by method of Facter Analysis, and selected main indexes (32 indexes of urbanization and 66 indexes of medical resources), and then by method of the main ingredient Analysis, we analyzed characteristics of urbanization and medical resources. Next by the points of the main ingredient Analysis on the urbanization and medical resources, we classificated indexes of urbanization and medical resources by method of the clustering Analysis, and then arrived at a conclusion on classification of 54 municipalities in KANAGAWA prefecture (Table-5).
