Abstract
I would like to make the concise method of analysing the orientation of the users' movement and the change of the movement. I could get the important data regarding the number of the public library registrants in each school area in Nagoya on 1979 and 1985. So, I made the regression line by the method of least squares, as the tool showing the orientation of the movement. Computing the angle of the inclination of that lines, I draw and analysis them on the map of Nagoya. In general, the inclination of the axis is influenced by various factors in the district.
