Building facade plays an important role for creating urban landscape design and contributes to the environmental impact through the performance of the building envelope. Also the perimeter zone is an effective area for placing seismic resisting elements in the structural design. The seismic improvement elements that are used in the perimeter zone might spoil the aesthetic facade design and environmental performance since seismic design often focuses on structural performance only. The concept of integrated facade engineering is proposed to improve architectural, environmental and structural design with integrated solutions. This paper firstly, proposes a new integrated facade building system consisting of louvers and buckling -restrained -braces. Secondly, the practicality of applying the system is reviewed by the three axis of the questionnaire for architecture, structure and for environment . Finally the performances is evaluated by using those three evaluation axis.
