Focusing on the light emission phenomenon and glare feeling, we conducted an experiment using HMD, where subjects were asked to evaluate appearance of a target color chip against background N3, covering all visual field of subjects, illuminated uniformly.
First, we created a glare feeling evaluation and the light emission phenomenon estimation model. Next, the analysis focused on the explanatory variables of the model formula.
From the above results, it was clarified that in the hues Y and YR regardless of the chroma, the smaller the target size, the more the light emission phenomenon occurs while suppressing the glare feeling.
