We proposed a new method using the spatial average of the one-dimensional distribution inside and outside the room as a method for spatial evaluation of the electromagnetic shielding room and obtained the following three findings through actual measurement and analysis.
First, it is simpler and more reproducible than conventional methods. Second, the one-dimensional spatial average of the outdoor space can represent the outer space. Third, the one-dimensional spatial average in the room does not depend on the directivity of the transmitting antenna, the installation method, and the position and orientation of the measurement line.
