Recently, high-rise reinforced concrete(R/C) buildings with center core wall have been built or designed. In the earthquake resistant design of these buildings, it is very important to clarify the inelastic behaviour of the core wall subjected to horizontal shear force. Among the various analytical models for R/C shear wall, the kabeyasawa model is considered to have a lot of advantage to 3-dimensional analysis. In this paper, the modeling method of core wall with the kabeyasawa model is proposed, and the results of simulation analysis of L-shaped core wall experiment performed using this method is reported. Through the analysis, the usefulness of this method to 3-dimensional inelastic analysis of core wall is shown.
