After the Hyogo-Ken Narabu Earthquake,January 17,1995,many fracture phenomena of beam ends in high-rise steel frames were observed.In this paper,we have calculated fracture resistance performance at stress concentration block on beam ends using CTOD and strain rate-temperature parameter.And,we discuss influence of ralative characteristic of section of beams on fracture resistance performance, influence of stress concentration at scallop on beam ends on fracture resistance performance and influence of fracture of beams on fracture resistance performance of other beams.
