In this research, drift pined joints with insert-steel gusset plate with lagscrewbolts are proposed, and their flexural test is carried out. When the depths of column and beam are balanced, the joints have adequate ductility. On the other hand, bending fracture of column or shear fracture in panel zone occur when depth of beam is too large compared to that of column. Analytical model of flexural behavior of the joints are also proposed, which gives good agreement with test results.
