抄録

The authors have developed a new type of high-strength one-side bolt for frictional joints in steel structures that can be fastened at low cost and has excellent workability. It was concluded from the experimental result that basic characteristics of a new type of high-strength one-side bolt were verified on following 3 aspects.

1. Variation and temperature dependance of torque coefficient were the same as that of conventional high strength bolts.

2. Tensile strength was the same as that of high strength bolts M16, F10T.

3. Slip coefficient of double-lap friction type bolted joints was larger than 0.45.
