In this study, we performed tensile loading tests for T-shaped fillet welding steel connection specimens at elevated temperatures, ambient temperature after heating and cooling processes, and high temperatures after cooling from 800°C, to evaluate load-bearing capacity on the fillet welding connections of gusset plates used in beam-to-column pinned connections of steel structures. Based on the test results, we proposed the verification methods on the high-temperature strength of the T-shaped fillet welding connection.
