Abstract
The distinctive feature of the pequency characteristics of sound transmission loss (T.L.) of cavity panels and resilient material sandwich panels is that they have a resonance-transmission-frequency in low frequency range, (formula No.14) and theoretically their frequency characteristic is to be analized substituting them to a mecaanical system which is consists of a mass and a spring mounting it. (formula No.10) In this report, from the theoretical point of view mentioned above, measured values of TL were compared with the theoretical value and the method to design the frequency-characterictic of TL of cavity panels and resilient material sandwich panels was discussed.
