Abstract
Presented in this paper is the study for the shearing strength in the steel pipe filled with concrete. Eight kinds of model specimens having different R/t (R : mean radius in steel pipe, t : thickness) were tested. From this study, the following conclusion can be drawn. The approximate design formula for the shearing strength of the corner connection subjected to lateral force was obtained from eq. (9).
