Abstract
The present paper is a the retical study of a continuam mechanics of shell structures composed of grid works. The equiliblium equations of stresses, stresses, functions, compatibility equations of strains and boundary conditions are discussed in two cases, of which one is in an ordinary field of six kinematical freedoms, the other is in a macro rotation field. The theory which has six fredoms is classified as a micro polar elastisity or a couple stress theory. Macro rotation theory is equal to ordinary shell theories neglecting shear deformations. The necessary relation to analyze such a shell, the constitutive equations are discussed. The method to get constitutive equations is illustrated and in plane behaviors of grid works are formulated into constitutive equations.
