Abstract
In the previous paper (No.1), we calculated stress distributions of cylindrical specimen subjected to partial compressive load, and we analyzed slip rupture phenomena by these results. In this paper, first, we report the experimental results of the strength of cylindrical mortar specimens subjected to partial compressive load through two rings of various dimension (d/D), and, secondly, analyze the strength by so-called internal friction theory. At the results of these experiments, we have obtained the relation between the compressive strength (σc) and shear slip strength (σsc) of mortar, which is represented the next equation for σsc=0.32〜0.36σc.
