Abstract
This report is shown the distinctive features found by the survey on housing life of households lived with the disabled in the public houses. Conclusions are as follows : (1) Housing life is different by the household patterns and further, in the same patterns, by the disabled's transfer ability. (2) It is remarkable tendency, on which the necessary house conditions are mainly based, that the disabled want to do their own parts. It is particularly remarkable in cases that the disabled husbands work in their houses and the diabaled wives do domestic duties. (3) One of the most differential housing life is a style using as one-room jointed DK with main room, or main room with sub room. (4) Another one is that DK is not used so much. This fact, we consider, is brought on their class they belong. But, in base of the disabled wives, DK is used so mucn than another household patterns in order to reduce handicaps in housework. (5) At last, in case of the disabled husband, we recognized the tendency that they make to have priority to working sapce in their own houses.
