Abstract
This is the second report of the studies on the planning of hospital buildings through the analysis of the functional relationships to materials supply and distribution system. First of all, This paper discribes the total investigation into actural conditions on which, for each department in two hospitals (791 Beds, 275 Beds), how much documents is transported per day, how often, and where. Secondly, I showed the estimated volume of documents and the frequency that will be transported per day, supposing that the hosital might be used comuputers for data processing. As the results, I am able to propose that the volume of transfer documents in hospitals are reduced to one fourth, and the flows of documents are simplified.
