Abstract
This paper is to define a fragment of the creative attitude of Antonio Gaudi by elucidating the practical aspect in the characters of this material. First of all the originality of this material was defined by considering the background of this one through the relation with the contemporaneous thoughts. Next the vision of the new religious architecture as syntesis was presented by arranging and recomposing the descriptions as concerns the church architecture in this notebook. Besides, we considered the idea of the unfinished ≪Iglesia de la Colonia Guell≫ (1898-1916) through the vision presented in this notebook. Consequently the following has been proved that his vision of the religious architecture as syntesis concepted in the adolescence was maintained in his mind, raised through many constructional executions and succeeded to the conceptions of the works ≪Iglesia de la Colonia Guell≫ and ≪Templo Expiatorio de la Sagrada Familia≫ (1883-1926) in his later years.
