The moisture degradation of polymeric building materials is accelerated when temperature increases. Hydrolysis of base polymer or solution of anti-degradation agents are some of chemical reactions activated by temperature under dew cycle condition. In this paper authors present temperature modified wetness time and wet-dry cycle map introducing accelerating factors based on Arrhenius' equation. The active energy was calculated numerically according to empirical rule, in which the rate of degradation is doubled by 10 deg C of temperature increace. The degradation amount of materials can be estimated quantitively using these indexes.
