Various kinds of uncertain factors in building construction make it difficult to predict construction progress accurately. The applicability of a computer simulation technique (SLAM II) for planning on a reinforced concrete building project was examined to establish a proper scheduling method. Based on the results of field observation on the work process and man-hour usage in the actual project, a SLAM II model was built for computer simulation. The relations between crew size and work performance were analyzed using this model. .The applicability of this computer simulation technique for construction scheduling was clarified through the research.
