Abstract
Up to now, the analysis of structural reliability under the combination loads has been studied for evaluating the probability distribution of the maximum load effect over a given time period. The paper describes a new analytical method in the evaluation of structural reliability or safety index under the combination loads by computing the statistics for the residual strength of structures with the concept of non-failure. effect without searching the probability distribution for the maximum load effect.
