In the dynamic analysis of the skeleton structures including truss members, masses have been generally considered only at the ends of the members. When the buckling takes place in the truss member whose slenderness ratio is near critical, this modeling cannot give a solution, because the member does not have the equilibrium path in the direction in which the deformation increases. This paper shows that the equilibrium path can be successfully obtained by considering the transverse inertia force of the members. The incremental perturbation method is applied to the numerical analysis in order to overcome the difficulty originated from the short natural period of the transverse vibration of the individual member
