A STUDY ON THE EFFECTIVENESS OF UTILIZING THE EXHAUST HEAT FROM SUBSTATION(Environmental Engineering)

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to clarify the effectiveness of utilizing the exhaust heat from substation. The analysis is carried out by using a management data of a building utilizing the exhaust heat from the substation to the heating system on the office floor and the hot water supply system on the residential floor. The result shows that the energy consumption of the building, including the pump electric energy for the heat carrier, can be reduced not only in winter but also in summer.
