INTEGRATED FACILITY-USE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM USING NETWORK IN UNIVERSITY CAMPUS : A prototype of system integration of different use and management divisions(Information Systems Technology)

Abstract

This paper proposes a prototype of integrated facility management database system. Integration of types of space concerning types of usage, and integration of management divisions are concerned. Such system is designed to work on www server as a CGI programs, and all managers of each division and general manager can easily manage the information. Core system for all buildings and all spaces management, subsystem for lecture rooms' management and reservation systems for temporarily used facility, and their integration prototype are shown. Functions of the system and the aim of the system are introduced, and the desirable system and way of management are discussed.
