The Architectural Institute of Japan (AIJ) investigated the energy consumption in the residence of Japan from 2001 in 2004. This report is outline of the measurement technique of energy consumption for a residence which was developed in the committee by this subject. By using this measuring technique, it is possible to evaluate the demand of the energy consumption in a residence.
