Using an advanced lattice model (basic lumped mass soil-structure model), in which boundary conditions and modeling methods of a rocking spring are improved, seismic response analyses of a nuclear reactor building, and simulation analyses of a forced vibration test and earthquake records observed at Hamaoka nuclear power plant were conducted. It was shown that the advanced lattice model is an enough applicable seismic response analysis model and approximately expresses real behavior of the nuclear reactor building.
