The following were clarified by analyzing concrete communication of design process in detail; A kind of gap between “requirements specified by the customer” and “requirements not stated by the customer but necessary for specified or intended use where known” makes oversight some important requirements because both the medical staff and the architect as specialists have excessive assumption each other. To improve design process as collaborative practice, it is necessary to disclose activities on “Quality management systems” and enhance accountability to the client.
