The actual circumstances of the indoor damages and the acts

Abstract

Recently, the indoor damages in high rise apartment houses caused by strong earthquakes are serious. The purpose of this study is to confirm the argument of the indoor damages. We conducted the questionnaire based survey for high rise apartment houses in metropolitan area after the 2011 off the Pacific coast of Tohoku Earthquake. The Survey mainly investigates the difference of the indoor damages along the height of these apartment houses, the actual circumstance of provision against the indoor damages, stockpiles, and victims unable to return house.
