TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER AND DIFFUSION IN THE INTRODUCTION PERIOD OF EARTHQUAKE PROVISION IN BANGLADESH

Abstract

This report focuses on the strategies of disaster management project by the international aid agencies in Bangladesh and tries to demonstrate the current situation of technology transfer in the introduction period. It is discovered that project’s activities would overwrap and impact each other. Furthermore approaches such as a technological improvement have been conducted in order to take root in the architectural social system of recipient. However domestic diffusion requires recipient’s own efforts. The studies of recipient reaction as well as cultural and social regional aspects are expected in the future.
