TWO PIECES OF NEW FOUND DRAWING ON THE NISHI TAKAGI JINYA

Abstract

This paper reports the character of two pieces of drawing on the Jinya of the Nishi Takagi, local rulers of Hatamoto status, found newly after the publication of the formal report on the site of the Jinya.
After examination of the depiction, one is the site plan depicted whole area of Jinya on the time after rebuilding following a fire in the Tempo era (1830s), and the other is the floor plan of main building of the upper residence of the Jinya under planning on the renovation in the Meiji era.
