Abstract
To realize the directivity of the plans of the dwelling of Han race in North-eastern China, this report analyzes the relation between site gate, entrance and plan of the main building through the case study at Shuangshanzi village in Shenyang city. From the analysis of the actual condition of the road in contact with the site, the position of the main gate, the entrance, and the plan of the main building, it is pointed out that the dwelling in this district are built mainly based on the south side-oriented space concept of Han race, but on the other side, show various plan-types caused by the site location and the local lifestyle of this district.
