STUDY ON ZERO ENERGY LIGHTING SYSTEM FOR TOILET UNDER THE EMERGENCY SITUATION

Abstract

Under the emergency evacuation situation after the disaster, maintaining normal state of Toilet is indispensable both for physical and psychological health however mega disaster like the Great East Japan Earthquake the initial infrastructure or Life Line is utterly lost. Thus the Toilet often becomes malfunction. The article explicates the optimum design spec and utility for the so-called ZET: Zero Energy Toilet that affords the durable comfort use of toilet environment regardless normal and emergency. The article reports basic system and preliminary demonstration result focusing on resilient lighting system.
