抄録
After release of Vietnam in 1954, Hanoi city, Vietnam of the capital, has changed boundary four times. The change has reflected upon the increasing demands of dramatic socio-economic policy transition, further has related to the urban structure. This study concentrates on analyzing Hanoi’s change of boundary and urban structure which has dealing with the situation socio-economic. In conclusion, Hanoi city performed with characteristics that conservation of agricultural land and compact urban.
