An evaluation of the seismic performance of pile foundations by the structure experiment for the ensuring of safety and post-earthquake functionality is important. It is desirable to perform the structure experiments to estimate characteristics of the piles on a condition similar to the actual situation.
In this study, the surveys on the actual applicable conditions of concrete piles in seismic design against severe earthquakes and the analyses of those data were carried out.
