ACTUAL UTILIZATION AND ISSUES OF PLANNING AND OPERATION ON LOCATION NORMALIZATION PLAN SYSTEM IN THE INITIAL PERIOD

Abstract

This report aims to clarify utilization trend on Location Normalization Plan System in the initial period by nationwide questionnaire survey. As a result, we revealed that many cities considered public transportation, population density and disaster risk for Residence instruction area, and considered public transportation center, city center and accumulated conditions of urban functions for Urban functions inducing area. In operation of plan, there are some problems, so that systemic complement and operational improvement are required in future.
