In this study, the relation between ward plan type and patient’s QOL environment evaluation in the advanced acute phase ward was clarified. The ward environment was evaluated by the questionnaire survey for the nurse. RESULT: In the advanced acute phase ward, the sound environment is the most concerned element, and the evaluation tends to be low in one direction and one row type. There were differences in the evaluation by the average seriousness, and it was indicated that the features of the advanced acute phase ward of the open floor might affect the evaluation especially in the night.
