This study analyzed the actual condition of the support projects for vacant house utilization in Tokyo’s 23 wards. As a result of interview researches in five wards set up this support projects, the subsidies per year are low, so this support was shown to be determinative. The activities of this subsidized organizations differed between wards. In addition, this subsidies were only for supplementing facility maintenance such as interior renovation, and subsidies were applied to vacant rooms instead of vacant houses.
