Many local governments have already begun to formulate the public facilities improvement policy. But the works are necessary to provide detailed analysis and direction, many local governments are having difficulty in their management. Especially it is difficult for local government employees who do not have specialized knowledges or experiences to make quickly plans and policies, that is excessive work and burden. Therefore, this report proposes a quantitative evaluation method for public facilities to consider the redevelopment policies, based on the results of constructing a method for facility assessment and a development policy with portfolio analysis.
