Kuju is a village in the Kumano area with a population of about 20 people. There is a closed elementary school in this village, where cafes, bookstores and bakery shops are open. We designed and built a bamboo tent during their annual KUJU MARKET, a Marche event hosted by them. This is an experiment to be able to hold an event outside even in rainy weather. It is also an experiment on using bamboo as a material for temporary construction.
