This paper discusses the preparation status provision of the emergency temporary housing by prefectural and city governments. The results are given follows; 1) Preparations for construction-type temporary housing in consideration of regional characteristics are advanced. On the other hand, preparations for rental-type temporary housing are delayed. 2) Detailed preparation plan would be considered as the municipalities proceeded with the preparations.
