The problem of disadvantaged shoppers has become more serious in Japan. Focusing the older adults’, this study aims 1) to clarify the characteristics of dissatisfaction against various road environments, and 2) to extract the elements as a factor of inconvenience of store accessibility. The results indicated that the degree of tolerance and amounts of each road elements related the dissatisfaction. And several elements were avoided by people who had specific attributes. Additionally, several road elements were actually regarded as one of factors of inconvenience. These results will contribute to make the road environments more comfortable for elderly shoppers.
