Conventional indicators using crowd density and pedestrian speeds can’t evaluate the walking condition of each pedestrian. This study aims to analyze the walking acceleration and elucidate the relationship between them and the ease of walking. For this research, mingling flow reproduction tests were carried out inside a motion-capture facility. Then, a new graphic representation was created to visualize walking acceleration. Furthermore, we conducted an analysis of ease of walking based on walking acceleration. The results suggest that ease of walking can be evaluated based on the transition status of walking acceleration.
